7 Dwarfs mine train update

Disney Imagineers take us behind the scenes of the 7 Dwarfs Mine train opening next year, it will be the last phase of the New Fantasyland expansion. Installation of the track is 75% complete. Also, a peek into the construction of the Princess Fairytale Hall opening later this year.

Seaworld Update 4.26.13

With less than a month till the opening of the new Antarctica attraction Brian Morrow creative director of the new attraction takes us behind the scenes of the making of the attraction. The ride officially opens May 24th

Walls still cover most of the attraction as they put finishing touches.

New yellow souvenir refillable mugs at SeaWorld, Also a few weeks ago new Shamu bubble machine guns replaced the generic ones they sold a few weeks ago. With summer just around the corner, new tumbler cups also available at different shops around the park.

New larger Boardwalk bakery now open!

At the same location, the Boardwalk bakery is now larger and offers more. Open daily from 630am to 11pm. Serving, sandwiches, pastries, salads and desserts. They also have grab and go items: fruit cup, yogurt, hummus & pretzels and Mickey rice Krispy treats. They also have a small gluten free selection.
Some of the new items include: eclairs, cannoli, salted caramel ganache, Jersey crumb cake and peanut butter, bacon and banana pie. Some of the old favorites are still on the menu.

Testing/preview for Pirates Adventure game

On Wednesday, we were able to preview/ test the new Pirates Adventure interactive game at the MK. It is set to officially open this summer. The game is similar to the Sorcerers game. Help captain Jack with 5 different pirate raids around Adventureland to collect valuable treasure. The recruitment kiosks for the game is located near Tortuga Tavern and The Pirates of the Caribbean ride. It is included with your paid admission to the park and open to all ages.

Animal Kingdom turns 15!

On Monday, Disney celebrated Disney's Animal Kingdoms 15th birthday with a short ceremony in front of the tree of life. Mickey, Minnie and the gang welcomed guest. A short speech was given by DAK's Vice President. Special maps and pins were handed out for the celebration. Characters rarely seen also joined the finale of the daily parade. Animal Kingdom finally starting on Avatarland?

Walls have started to appear on one side of the bridge from Discovery Island crossing over to Africa. It looks like a huge chunk of the trees behind the wall have been cleared.
On Sept of 2011, Disney did announce that an Avatar themed land would be coming to Animal Kingdom in the coming years.

Pirate interactive game at Adventureland update.

Could the new interactive game, Pirates Adventure: Treasure of the Seven Sea be testing soon? this small kiosks near the entrance of Adventureland looks like it will be the recruitment area for the new game. The sign is currently covered with a fabric, but can read parts of what the sign says. It is scheduled to official open this summer.

Cookies, Candy and Cupcakes!

-At Magic kingdom, Mother's Day cookies have arrived at the confectionery. Mother's Day is on May 12th.
-At Hollywood Studios, lemon meringue cupcakes.
-At Universal Studios, Transformers lollipops.

It's Disney Fairies week at the Magic Kingdom

As part of the "Limited Time Magic" at Disney, you can meet Disney fairies: TinkerBell, Iridessa, Rosetta, Silvermist, Vidia, and Terrance ( not all at once ). Daily, till Sunday April 21st. From park opening - one hour prior to park close (see parks times guide). Tinkerbells magical nook is located near where you can get Dole Whip in Adventureland. More details on the links tab above.
