SeaWorld Update 6.4.12.

Construction update on the Underwater viewing / Dine with Shamu area. UWV is now fully landscaped but pathway still blocked with a new wooden wall. Still no word from SW on an opening date.

A quick look at the construction progress of the Antarctica attraction set to open next spring...

New souvenir refillable cups available aside from the new Turtle Trek design. SW added an orange Shamu cup and a swirly orange one which I believe is for the icee slush type drinks. Did not see anymore of the OneOcean cups so they might be all gone.

Have kids? Going to SW soon? Make sure you pick up one of these maps. These "Kidsiderate" guide pamphlet has some good tips on what kids under 9 yrs/o might enjoy around the park. It includes tips on shows, animal connections, photo opportunities and dining options. You can pick up a guide near the reservations desk at the front of the park. Sample of what is inside below:

The Garden of Discovery area has been blocked and made a part of the queue for TurtleTrek for the busy summer season.

Finally, SeaWorld announced late yesterday that a whale in the Blue Horizons show has died. Jozu the false killer whale who performs in the middle part of the Blue Horizons dolphin show.
