Happy Easter!

Hey everyone! sorry have not posted in a while, been busy running around.

This year is the second year of the Easter egg display at Disney's Grand Floridian. The eggs were displayed last week and will be till the end of this month! New this year, the Storybook circus egg display.

Pic updates 3.15.13

Last week, the new Tangled themed rest area opened for guest. The new area located in between Haunted Mansion and Small World includes restrooms, stroller parking area, tables, and charging stations.

Finishing touches are now being done to Splash Mt which should re-open sometime next week after being closed a couple of week ago for refurbishment.. Water has been added back on the ride and boats occasionally being run.

Next door, the Big thunder Mt Railroads interactive queue.


St Patricks Day cupcakes at DHS
Looking for something fun to do with the whole family this weekend? Downtown Disney is having a St Patricks Day celebration. Complete with food, drinks live bands, and entertainment for the whole family. The celebration starts at 6pm.

Flower and Graden Festival Epcot 2013

Now through May 19th see Epcot in full bloom! Celebrating its 20th year - Mickey, Minnie, Goofy Donald Daisy and Pluto are having a party at the front entrance of Epcot.

 This year, with more than 70 Disney character topiaries, informative presentations, butterfly gardens, marketplaces, festival farms, kids spots and for the first time this year tasty treats at over a dozen food marketplaces scattered around World Showcase.

The Festival Center, located at its usual spot ( between Mission Space and Energy ) is home to the different stages for flower and garden presentations. Several Disney horticulture speakers and HGTV host will be there throughout the festival. All of the presentations are free, but have limited seating. The Festival Center is open daily from 10-5

Roger Swain, who was the speaker at the first Epcot F&G festival is back again this year only for 4 shows in the 2 days. (Wed Thurs)

Some of the presentation have freebies like this pink F&G baggie. Passports similar to the Food and Wine Festival are available for free and is a nice way to keep track parts of the festival you've seen and which you have not..


New Topiaries this year, Mike & Sully from Monsters University greet guest as they enter World Showcase.

Opened a few weeks ago, the Oz Garden at the Rose Garden is the largest playground out of the 3 at this years festival. Just follow the yellow brick... flowers.
You can find the Cars topiaries making a pit stop near the newly designed TestTrack.
Disney Fairies are inside the Butterfly Garden this year. Always fun to see the Butterfly Garden At Epcot

Some of the topiaries have been moved around this year, but, most are back from last years festival.

On the weekends, check-out the Flower Power Concert Series at American Gardens Theater.
