Mardi Gras Parade 2012 Universal Orlando

Tonight, Universal kicked off Mardi Gras. There are four all new floats this year. Parade comes out and goes in over by the Horror Makeup show. B52s concert started at 8:30pm, next week will be Kelly Clarkson. Food selection at the French Quarter Courtyard (located near Twister) include Gumbo, Shrimp po' boy, cheese steaks, beignets, jambalaya, fried oreos and more.   Great food, music and beads!!!

SuperBowl MVP Eli Manning at DisneyWorld

SuperBowl MVP Eli Manning rode along in a car with Mickey as part of a tradition after winning the Superbowl last night. The Short parade was at 1:20pm.  Balloons were placed on post lamps near the castle and confetti was sprayed as the car got closer to the media cameras. A few guests were selected to be taped for the video Disney is shooting for the Disney blog.

After the parade, pictures with Mickey and Minnie in front of the castle and interviews with the news media.

Who's ready for Mardi Gras? / Universal Studios Update 2.3.12.

Beads time! One more week till Mardi Gras 2012 at Universal Orlando! French Quarter Food, Music, Parade, and Live Concert.

B-52 will kick off Mardi Gras next week performing at the Music Plaza Stage. Prep. has begun for the event.

Other Updates around the park. Work on the UCS more cables are being fed into pipes to the barges on the lagoon.

Walls around some of the areas from last week now taken down.

Hollywood Drive-In golf update 2.3.12

The new Hollywood Drive-in mini golf coming along at Citywalk. On one side landscaping being put down. Doing more painting and fine details on the course. Iron fence now up by the valet parking loop. It is scheduled to open  sometime this month.

Habit Heroes Epcot Innoventions now testing

This Tuesday testing began for the Habit Heroes attraction inside Innoventions at Epcot.

An interactive experience for the whole family where you zap televisions, blast fatty food, and most importantly keep on moving (exercise)

There are 4 different rooms in this attraction. The Gymnasium where you get a briefing. Then, to the oval room to zap televisions. The next room, zap fatty foods with zappers similar to ones for Toy Story Mania , and finally a quick exercise routine.

Magic Memories and You Valentine edition

It's about that time of year again. Valentines Day is just around the corner. The Magic Memories and You projection show on Cinderellas castle has a small Valentines segment squeezed in between the regular show, similar to what they did for Christmas.

Here is a look of that added segment for Valentines.
