Disney pic Update 2.16.12

At Epcot, they are getting ready for the Flower and Garden Festival which start in a couple of weeks. Beds are being mulched and flowers being planted.  The event will run from March 7th - May 20th.

At Animal Kingdom the rock arch is now completely removed. Doing the other side now. Maybe they are expecting basketball players next week?

And finally, got around to playing the new Sorcerers game. Not my type of activity but is worth a shot since it is new. It is similar to the Kim Possible game at Epcot. You are invited to help defeat different villains around the Magic Kingdom through these portals. You are given instructions at the training center, a map of where the portals are, a key card and several spell cards.The key is needed to open the portal and from there cast your spell when you are told to do so. The screen will let you know where to go next and the map can guide you there.

The cast member I talked to said that it should be open for the rest of this week. The game has been testing for a couple of weeks now but will officially open next week. You do need to present a admission ticket to play.

At the moment you can pick either coke or pepsi  as drink selection at SeaWorld as they slowly make the switch. Several drink kiosks and shops now serve coke while the other still have Pepsi. Souvenir mug refills are still .99 cents. Coke vending machines now replaced old pepsi ones just outside the park.

Penguin attraction demolition continues more bulldozers came to help.

Scheduled to open this spring, work continues for the Turtle Trek attraction. the old manatee gift shop now have turtle designs on the side of the store.

Underwater viewing / dine with Shamu nothing new visible since last update, no water, and men were down under the pool testing something.

On a cold day like today the popular seats are up... way up. Tili still a no show.

This fish didn't make it through the cold blast over the weekend and washed up on the shores in the lagoon at SW.

Bands, Brew & BBQ at SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld also kicked off its B,B&BBQ event yesterday. The event runs every Sat and Sun till March 4th.  Live concerts are held at the Bayside Stadium, some of the best BBQ from around town and 50 different craft beers at the Beer Garden.

Bubbalou's BBQ, Wesley's BBQ, Sonnys and SeaWorld are the 4 selection this year which offer sprare ribs, pulled pork, wings, strawberry shortcake and more.

 The same event is also happening at Busch Gardens Tampa. The event is included with paid admission to the park.
